Network Upgrade status report

We have completed this phase of our network upgrade – all dialup and ISDN circuits were moved successfully last night. The outage lasted from 7:30pm to about 8:10pm for dialup and ISDN customers.

We experienced some routing issues and a BGP configuration error, which made a portion of our network unreachable from the outside world. This was corrected by 9:30pm.

The next phase of our network upgrade will include changing out some older routers with new Cisco routers. These changes are planed for Milwaukee and Kenosha next. We will alert you to any potential down time outside of our normal maintenance window.
