The City of Racine has contracted with CyberLynk to design, install, and manage a private broadband fixed wireless network to provide high-speed connectivity to all firehouses within the city. The Fire Department has tried Frame Relay and DSL in the past, and now has chosen CyberLynk’s Fixed Wireless service to provide LAN/WAN connectivity. We have already started installation, and the project is scheduled to be completed sometime in August of this year.

CyberLynk’s Broadband Fixed Wireless technology has proven to be a very low-cost, high reliability solution for the City. Each firehouse will be fitted with an antenna and radio that will connect to a cell site located on the roof of the Racine Courthouse.

CyberLynk is also the primary bandwidth provider for the City of Racine. We look forward to working with the new IT department within the City.
