Racine – Monday, August 9, 1999 – CyberLynk Network, Inc., a regional Internet Service Provider today announced that they are now offering high speed Digital Subscriber Line (DSL) Internet services throughout Wisconsin and Northern Illinois. Service offerings include speeds from 384Kbps through 7Mbps to home or business customers.
CyberLynk, with corporate offices in Racine Wisconsin, provides complete IP and Internet services to Corporations, Governments, Schools, and other Internet Service Providers. CyberLynk has physical Points Of Presence (POPs) in Racine, Kenosha, West Allis and Milwaukee Wisconsin as well as Chicago and Gurnee, Illinois.
DSL technology will allow customers of CyberLynk, who subscribe to DSL service, to access the Internet from 10 times faster, and up to 100 times faster, than with a standard modem using existing telephone wiring. This unique data transfer technology is particularly well suited for small and medium sized businesses looking to connect their entire staff to the Internet over a single high-speed Internet connection, or for power users looking to access the Internet at top speeds from home or work.
CyberLynk has partnered with Waukesha based @Link Networks, Inc. a national facilities based CLEC (Competitive Local Exchange Carrier) to provide the xDSL connections to customer locations via their broadband network. Through this partnership CyberLynk will be able to provide the xDSL line, high-speed Internet service, all necessary connection equipment and on-site installation for a single low monthly charge.
All Business DSL connection contracts also include a ‘virtual server’ for unlimited E-mail, FTP, and web hosting; multiple ‘dial-up service’ accounts and toll-free dial-up access. Consumer accounts are available through our Consumer division (www.clsurf.com) and include an unlimited dial-up account and unlimited E-mail.
